I read the negative reviews and thought it would be better and different for me. Im really not picky about where i stay, but i really wouldnt recommend this place. The man at the reception was bordering on nasty- really unhelpful and rude- and the atmoshpere generally stunk. The room itself was ok- aircon- but the was no kitchen or communal area, or even a lock up room for luggage. I also think the bed had bedbugs. I recommend going elsewhere.

This place was awful. Do not stay here for more than 1 night at the most.

It is being renovated. The bathroom in the 12 bed dorm has no ceiling so it's not very sound proof. The toilet didn't flush either. It was really hot. The room is air conditioned but when the owner showed us the room he turned it off and took the remote control. The hostel has potential but needs to work on a few things.

Not a good hostel (dirty, unsafe, be careful your stuff during the night) and the guy is not really nice. The ony good thing is the location, very close to the station and to the old city and beach. Stay there one night, not more

The room itself was pretty bare. There's a table in the middle of the room and the bathroom is...indescribable. It's basically an addition to the room, but it has no ceiling, so it's just walls built around a toilet, sink and shower. It's also tiny and there is nowhere to put your clothes. The sink was baby-sized so if you want to wash your face or something, forget it. The man who owns the hostel didn't change the bedsheets once. Wouldn't recommend it. The location was pretty good, though.

I booked for a 10 bedded dorm and half way through my stay they brought in another set of bunks without warning or discount. There are no cupboards/lockers to store your things which is a little inconvenient. Also the toilet area is in the dorm without a roof so it makes going to the bathroom an experience for everyone else in the room - the toilet also got blocked while I was there, so a little bit smelly. The location is great so that was a bonus.

It is in a fantastic location near the train station. It is all run by one chinese man, who was quite nice. Security is not very good though and an extra sheet to go ontop is not provided!

There was a small chaos when we where there because of a rebuilding but it will be nice when it´s done! I don't think they ever cleaned the room or the sheets so it was not very fresh. A good thing is that it's close to the station and about 10 min walk to the water!

If you open the windows, be expected to be harassed by insects the whole night. Fortunately they have air conditioning. The rooms are spacious but the toilet is very small and has no lights. No other facilities. Near the train station and only less than 10 minutes from the beach.

Although it's close to the train station which is not the best part in Nice, the hostel was clean and comfortable. Great location, less than 10 mins from the beach walking and close to pretty much everything. Good atmosphere. Lastly, the host was very nice and helpful. I reccomend this place.
